WOORAGEE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Wooragee Primary School is situated in North East Victoria between Beechworth and Wodonga within an attractive rural setting which will celebrate 150 years of education in 2012.
Currently there are 24 primary age students. Staff include: the Principal and Classroom Teacher supported by an Office Manager and an Integration Aide. Wooragee is a training school for Education Undergraduates who support student learning whilst undertaking their practical training. The curriculum is enhanced through visiting specialist programs of MACC (Art) and MARC (Library) and the school is supported by a talented IT technician.
All students have a lap top computer and parents of students in Years 3-6 have the opportunity to rent their child’s lap top so it can go home and be used each night. We have numerous extra curricula activities such as weekly Musikids Program and bi-weekly and Gecko Program (building students’ strength, flexibility and fitness). The school is renowned for its environmental programs which are often linked to Junior Landcare activities and has won many awards.

BEECHWORTH PRIMARY SCHOOL
Beechworth Primary School, built in 1875, consists of a central heritage building classified by the National Trust, with the addition of relocatable rooms. The school is centrally located in the historic gold mining town of Beechworth, North East Victoria.The school has a current enrolment of 185 students. The students are drawn from the town and the surrounding rural area. Eight classes operate and these are mainly composite, spanning two years, in structure.
The school uses a range of teaching and learning strategies to ensure that we effectively engage our students in their learning. We have a Learning to Learn program during the first term of each year to help empower our students with strategies to become effective and motivated students. We have an excellent academic, social, emotional and physical record of program delivery for our families and students.

STANLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL
Stanley Primary School was established in the 1850's to service the needs of children from the thriving gold industry in the district. The area around Stanley fosters tourism and is close to the snowfields and high country of Victoria.The school is an historic 1870's red brick building set amongst beautiful old trees in the hills below Mt.
